Student Enrichment Programme

Students got to broaden their horizon on various courses and related job opportunities. Grade XII students were given an opportunity to attend a career guidance class by eminent personalities from different fields at Girideepam convention centre to make an informed and clear choice on their future career.They also got the opportunity to attend a session with Career Guru B.S Warier whose interactive session enlightened them on the apt career they could pursue.

What a beautiful morning for the kids to strengthen their unique bond with their grandparents!!! The K G wing of Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya organised Grandparents Day to sensitize kids about the role of grandparents in one's life and teach them about respecting and taking care of them in their old age. The elderlies  abundantly enjoyed with their little ones. They ran jumped threw and what more? The day was filled with fun and frolic and the grandpas and grandmas overwhelmed with joy.

NBV celebrated Children's Day on 14th November. Mrs.Jolly Johnson , Director Helping Hands Organization was the Chief guest for our special assembly. An animated movie Moana was shown to our students. Dr. Joju John Professor Mar Theophilos training college was the Chef Guest in the Junior School.

The Bethanians observed Vigilance Awareness Week DYSP Jayakumar conducted a programme for the students. The Vigilance Dept. organised several competitions like Poster making, Essay writing and quiz to build up integrity among students. Celebration is an occasion for enjoyment, spreading values, promoting creativity and showing respect towards God and nation. Christmas was celebrated on 22nd December. Chief guests were Rev. Fr. Eighty five year old Komalakumari amma who is bedridden couldn't believe it that her wish to go to a temple could be fulfilled. What a joy she had!! The student representatives and a few teachers of NBV visited her, bathed her, clothed her and adorned her with accessories. The smile on her lips spoke hundred words. The students of Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya were taken to Nishagandhi auditorium on 20th November on the occasion of Transgender Day of Remembrance. It was organised by H2O (Helping Hands Organisation.)Young Bethanians expressed their support to the target group who needs special attention. They felt that the condition of transgender is very appalling in our society. It was a day to remember the violence the transgender community is often subjugated to, across the world.

Onam Celebration

Onam was celebrated on 31st August with pomp and splendour. Cine artist Sri. Tini Tom was the Guest of Honour. Variety of programmes followed by Onasadya made the day a memorable one. On the same day few teachers and students participated in the Mathrbhumi-Cuticura Athapoovu contest held at Women's College, TVM. One of our teams won second prize for the Best Logo. Play back Singer Smt.Saritha Rajeev was the Guest of Honour for the primary section.

Rally For Rivers

Rally For Rivers

The students of Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya, Thiruvananthapuram, gathered on the school grounds with placards reading Rally For Rivers to create awareness of the importance of protecting rivers. Former Chief Minister of Kerala Oommen Chandy was the chief guest. He appreciated the students for being a part of the nationwide awareness campaign to revive rivers. The students held blue placards and depicted the chain of rivers in India.

Our Tiny Tots performed excellently in the Venad Sahodaya Kids Fest Feathers 2017 held at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan. Our Kinder Garten kids participated in the Kids Fest organized by YMCA and won the Overall Trophy.

To commemorate the 70th year, Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya celebrated Independence Day on 14th August. Chief Guest Shri.Jitheshji , Speed Cartoonist and former Vice Chairman of Kerala Cartoon Academy graced the occasion by his presence and through infotainment art form Varayarangu. A variety of programmes by the students highlighting the importance of the day made it colourful. Flag hoisting ceremony was there on 15th August.

You Are Free !!!

NBV along with People Pro & E Education Services was welcomed graciously by Techno Park on 6th Nov, 2017 where 33 students from 6th & 8th grades took to stage a splendid performance titled You Are Free. They mimed, danced and acted out so passionately about the issue that hinders our true freedom like violence. The students gave the message that our freedom will be enjoyed in such a way that won't hinder our neighbors freedom and stand for what is just and be the voice for the voiceless.US...
